Intended for companies wishing to recruit graduating seniors and alumni for full-time, career related positions. This event is also intended for companies wishing to recruit juniors for internships. Companies wishing to participate in On Campus Recruiting are asked to be present at the Fall Career Day to meet informally with students during the event.

Please visit the Fall Career Expo Page for more information and how to sign-up for the event

Career Fair Overview - UNO Career Events

The UNO Office of Career Development sponsors or co-sponsors all Career Days and Job Fairs at the University of New Orleans. These events are intended to allow employers an opportunity to meet hundreds of students and alumni in a professional, large-format event. We invite all employers to attend at least one career fair per year to keep awareness high about their organization. Listed below is information regarding our yearly career fairs and other events that are scheduled in the same format. This page will be updated as new events are added for registration

Part-Time/On Campus Job Fair (usually associated with FreshFest, first week of school) - Fall
The PTOCJF is a great way for employers looking to hire part-time or temporary students for jobs at their organization. This event is casual and usually held outside,so you can wear your shorts. Since it is held during the first week of school, you will have access to hundreds of students looking to get a great PT job to offset their college expenses. There is a registration fee for this event.

Fall Career Day - Fall
Our Fall Career Day is the premier career day at the University of New Orleans. It is scheduled before On Campus Recruiting starts in order to allow employers an opportunity to meet potential recruits prior to one-on-one interviews. There is a registration fee for this event.

Mardi Gras Career Fair (usually two weeks before Mardi Gras day) - Spring
The MGI Career Fair is a two day event sponsored by Dillard University, Loyola University New Orleans, Our Lady of Holy Cross College, Southern University New Orleans, Tulane University, University of New Orleans, and Xavier University Louisiana. This event is the LARGEST career day in New Orleans and has been in existence for over 15 years. Each year drawing over 1200 students and alumni, MGI is the best way to talk to students and alumni from all of the New Orleans institutions. There is a fee for this event.
